Heating and furnace repair
Forced-air furnaces in Westlake, Strongsville, and Parma, and older furnaces in Cleveland bungalows, are both regular calls. We find the failed part before recommending a full replacement.
From our shop in North Ridgeville, the west side of Cuyahoga County is a short drive. North Olmsted, Westlake, Lakewood, Parma, Strongsville, and Cleveland are all part of the Temp Tech service area.
Cuyahoga County winters are long, and the west side gets its share of lake-effect snow. A furnace that is struggling in November will not coast through a January cold snap. We check combustion, airflow, and safety controls on gas furnaces, and we service boilers in the older houses that still use them.
Summer humidity is the other half of the job. If a system is low on charge, the coil is dirty, or the ductwork in a two-story colonial was never balanced, upstairs bedrooms stay warm. We repair central air across the west side and farther into the county, and we replace equipment that can no longer keep up.
Temp Tech is a local company, licensed, bonded, and insured in Ohio. We work on houses and on small commercial spaces. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with emergency calls taken as a priority.
Brick colonials, bungalows, and doubles make up a large share of these neighborhoods. Boilers, radiators, and aging forced-air furnaces are common, and a lot of second-floor bedrooms still rely on a window air conditioner. Pulling new ductwork through plaster is often the expensive path. A ductless mini-split can heat and cool the room that the original system never reached.
These communities are closer to a typical central-air house: a gas furnace, an outdoor condenser, and a thermostat that may be original to a remodel from the 2000s. When the equipment is at the end of its life we install American Standard or Heil and give a free estimate on a full system replacement.
North Olmsted and Olmsted Falls sit on our doorstep. Strongsville, Middleburg Heights, Brook Park, Broadview Heights, Berea, and Seven Hills are regular service areas too. The houses are a mix of mid-century ranches and later colonials. Commercial calls from shops and small offices in this part of the county are welcome.
Installations are centered on American Standard and Heil. We service all makes, including the furnace, air conditioner, boiler, or water heater already in the building. Complete system replacements include a free estimate.
Forced-air furnaces in Westlake, Strongsville, and Parma, and older furnaces in Cleveland bungalows, are both regular calls. We find the failed part before recommending a full replacement.
Central air in Rocky River and Bay Village, and tired condensers behind Parma colonials, get the same treatment: airflow, refrigerant circuit, and electrical checks before a quote to replace.
Boilers are still common in Lakewood doubles and older Cleveland houses. We also replace tank and tankless water heaters when the unit in the basement is leaking or out of hot water.
Plaster walls in Lakewood and Cleveland make new ductwork expensive. A ductless mini-split is often the practical way to retire a window unit in a bedroom or a finished third floor.
Most Cuyahoga County homes heat with natural gas. We service the gas furnace or boiler that is there, including brands we did not install.
Older city houses collect dust from original ductwork, and tight newer homes in Broadview Heights can trap indoor pollutants. Air purifiers and humidifiers are available with a heating or cooling visit.
The west side is where most Cuyahoga County calls come from, because it is closest to North Ridgeville. If you are elsewhere in the county, including the east-side suburbs, call and we will tell you whether we can schedule the visit.
We regularly serve the west side of Cuyahoga County, including North Olmsted, Olmsted Falls, Westlake, Bay Village, Rocky River, Fairview Park, Lakewood, Cleveland, Parma, Berea, Brook Park, Middleburg Heights, Strongsville, and Broadview Heights. Calls farther into the county are welcome.
Yes. Brick colonials, bungalows, and doubles in Lakewood, Cleveland, and older Parma streets often heat with boilers or aging forced-air furnaces. We repair those systems and install ductless mini-splits where adding ductwork is a poor fit.
We do. Many Cuyahoga County houses still cool upstairs rooms with window units. A ductless mini-split can heat and cool those rooms without opening new ductwork through plaster walls.
